So, I really wanted to try this technique of layering stamps to create a nice one-layer card, but I just couldn't do it. My initial thought was to mask off the phone, but I stamped and embossed it first and ended up getting a lot of residual embossing powder everywhere and it kind of drove me nuts. I ended up cutting the phone out and just plopping it onto my background stamped with Papertrey Ink's Polka Dot Basics. I have been wanting Kelly Purkey's Insta set but it is always sold out, so I did some digging and found this Hero Arts set called LOL which I love! I paired it with Kelly's sentiment from 'I Like You' and loved the end result. I made this card for my twin sister who is my bestest friend and confidante--I miss her so much. Our iPhones are like a lifeline of sorts--I love being able to call, text, Facetime--it helps make the distance a little easier to survive! I am having so much fun with this Online Card Class--already thinking about which one to take next!
